Information Sessions
We at lifewriters.ca believe that everyone has a story, and we are committed to encouraging individuals to tell and preserve their life stories. Part of that commitment involves hosting free information sessions to writers’ groups, museums, libraries, and service organizations such as the Rotary Club.
A typical talk lasts anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes with additional time for questions. The focus is on inspiring, empowering, and equipping do-it-yourselfers to begin writing their stories. We identify the benefits and challenges of a life story and give an overview of the process — planning, writing and revising, designing, and printing. We also provide a list of resources.
If you would like to schedule a free information session on lifewriting for your group or organization, please email me or call toll-free at 1.800.864.9152.
